Our paper, by Ke, Ch., Humeniuk, M., S-Gracz, H. and Marszalek, P.E.
(2007), "Direct Measurements of Base Stacking Interactions in DNA by Single
Molecule Atomic Force Spectroscopyˇ±Physical Review Letters, 99, 018302,
was selected by the APS News, a publication of the American Physical
Society, as one of the 36 most important works in physics in 2007. This paper was one of
only two articles representing biological physics in this summary of physics highlights
for the past year.
